A portion of the West Seattle Beer & Music Festival proceeds will go to the WestSide Baby, a local nonprofit organization committed to keeping our community's children safe, warm & dry. Westside Baby, in partnership with social service organizations, provides essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, and equipment.




About Us


The 2018 West Seattle Beer & Music Festival is brought to you by Westside Productions, a company formed by Seattle natives. We have formed this great event for the beer heads of Seattle and the community.

The Westside Productions mission is to present a world-class celebration of the arts and entertainment that enriches the cultural, economic and social vitality of the region. Furthermore, the festival will represent core values of excellence, diversity, and relevance.




Bringing a great beer event to West Seattle


On August 24-26th, the first annual West Seattle Beer & Music Festival is going to take place at the Alki Masonic Center, in the West Seattle neighborhood. Our goal is to provide craft beer drinkers with an amazing selection of unique beers so they can discover new and old favorites. There will be dozens of options from some of the best breweries, including those right in our neighborhood and from across the country. Not only will there be craft beer, the festival will feature “Sips and Bites” from our local culinary stars pairing up with festival brewmasters and funky local bands & Dj’s keeping us movin.

1What do I get with admission?
With your admission to the festival, you will receive a souvenir tasting glass, tokens for tasting & “Sips & Bites”, outstanding local and national craft beers, music and a chance to talk to your favorite brewer (if you can catch them).
2When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 9th at 8 AM PST and only available through Stranger Tickets. General Admission tickets cost $45.00 and limited VIP Early Entrance tickets cost $85.00
3What is the deal with glasses and tokens?
Your souvenir tasting glass is your sipping access to all the beers at the festival. Volunteers will not pour beer into anything else and will not take cash in exchange for samples (nice try). This is where your tokens come into play. Hand ‘em over…get your beverage or food sample.
4What does this mean I'm VIP?
Your VIP ticket includes admission to the event one- hour early. Enjoy limited, rare & exclusive complimentary beers only available at the VIP tent. You will receive 15 Sips and Bites tokens for the beer garden, access to the seating area with ideal viewing of the bands, catered food for the first two hours, a private bathroom and an exclusive souvenir tasting glass for a complimentary beer tasting in the VIP Lounge. Must be 21+
5Can I buy extra tokens during the session?
Yes, you can purchase extra Sips and Bites tokens at the Box office during the session. These tokens are good for any session during the #WSBMF2018 weekend event.
6When do taps shut down?
Taps shut down 15 minutes prior to the end of each session with a last call announcement 30 minutes before taps are shut down. Beer will not be served when session closure is announced.
7Does West Seattle Beer and Music Fest accept credit cards or checks?
West Seattle Beer and Music Fest accepts cash, Mastercard, Discover, and Visa. West Seattle Beer & Music Fest does not accept checks.
8Is there re-entry at West Seattle Beer Beer and Music Fest?
West Seattle Beer and Music Fest is a No Re-Entry Event. Please plan accordingly as you will not be able to return to the festival after you leave.
9Is there a smoking section?
The festival will have an outside patio for smoking.
10Where do I buy tickets and how much are they?
Tickets to the event are sold through Stranger Tickets. Once the event is sold out, it is sold out and additional tickets will not be available at the door.
11What food will be available at the event?
The festival will feature top culinary stars from West Seattle, White Center and the Burien community. We won't know until the event what Bites are paired with each Sip. If you have dietary restrictions, vegetarian or vegan, you are welcome to bring food to the event.
12Are children allowed at the event?
The is a 21 and over event. Children and infants will not be admitted.
13Are there Designated Driver tickets?
Designated drivers can purchase a non-drinking general admission ($10) or VIP ticket ($25) onsite at the West Seattle Beer Box Office. This admission includes water and soda tokens redeemable at the Food Hall Tent.
14Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, you will need to print your ticket and present photo I.D. for entrance into the event. If you are unable to print your tickets you must download the Stranger Ticket app to your smartphone. Please also have your photo ID out and ready to be checked when your arrive. Backpacks & purses are subject to search upon entry.
15What is the appropriate ID to get in?
The WA Liquor Control Board will accept 1) a driver’s license with a photo from any state; 2) a current passport; 3) a DMV identification card; and 4) a military card. The state identification card and/or the military card must bear a picture of the person, the person’s name, address, date of birth, a physical description and the signature of the person.
16Can we bring pets?
Pets are not allowed at the Friday and Saturday sessions. However, Fido can tag along for the “Dog Day Afternoon" event on Sunday. (exception for service animals).
17Can we have a bottleshare while we wait in line for entrance?
No, that is illegal. Any alcohol will be confiscated and your entrance to the event will be jeopardized.
18What happens if it rains?
The event is rain or shine, be prepared for the heat as well. Be sure to drink plenty of water before and during the event. You may bring an empty or sealed water bottle to fill inside if you would like.
19Can I bring my homebrew to the fest?
No outside drinks are allowed. There will be plenty of food, beer and water at the event.
20Is there seating?
Yes, seating is available in the garden. We are limited on space so don’t bring chairs and blankets..
21Parking?
Don’t drive. Be safe and take a cab, Uber, Lyft, or the good ‘ol Metro. If YOU HAVE TO drive, know parking in the West Seattle Junction is limited. May the odds be ever in your favor!
22What is the refund policy?
The event is rain or shine, no refunds, no exceptions!
23Will there be wine or gluten free beers?
This is an event celebrating craft beer. It’s up to the attending brewery on what type of beer they bring.
24Will there be Merchandise Sold?
Yes, we will have limited official 2018 WSBMF Merchandise for sale inside the garden.
