Event Information

When is West Seattle Beer and Music Festival?

The West Seattle Beer & Music Festival takes place over two days on August 23rd and 24th, 2019.

Where is the Festival?

The festival is being held at the Alki Masonic Lodge, located at 4736 40th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116.

What time do gates open?

On Friday the gates open at 5 pm. On Saturday the gates open at 3 pm. VIP ticket holders gain early access to the festival at 1:30 pm on Saturday.

What time is last call for alcohol at the Festival?

The festival ends at 10 pm each night. Last call for alcohol is at 9:40 pm on both Friday and Saturday nights. However, the Festival is hosting nightly after parties from 10 pm – 1 am for an additional admission fee (more information on that below).

Are kids allowed?

West Seattle Beer and Music Festival is a 21-and-over event. Anyone under 21 will not be admitted to the Festival.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome to join their humans on Saturday from 1 pm – 5 pm, where there will be dog-friendly snacks and activities. Registered service dogs are allowed for the entire event, however.

How many breweries are on tap?

20 breweries have confirmed they will be pouring at the 2019 Festival.

How do you choose which breweries are showcased?

We try to invite breweries with interesting small-batch brews, or up-and-coming local microbreweries, in addition to a few regional icons such as Fremont Brewing and Lost Abbey Brewing. Our goal is to provide a wide range of specialty beers to keep the event interesting – even for Seattle’s seasoned beer drinkers!

What musical acts are performing?

Confirmed musical acts for Friday are: DJ Mister Moon, Fly Moon Royalty, Marmalade, and DJ Indica Jones. The musical acts performing on Saturday are: DJ Mister Moon, WilloW, Crystal & Quiet, Mega Ran, and DJ Indica Jones.

Does the Festival allow re-entry with ticket purchase?

Yes, it does. If you have your wristband and your tasting glass, you are welcome to come and go as you please for the day(s) that your ticket is good for.

Where are the After parties?

The After parties are located inside the Alki Masonic Center, directly adjacent to the Festival space. The main Festival will end at 10 PM on both dates, and the After party will begin immediately following the main Festival.

Ticket Information

How much do tickets cost?

We will have a pre-sale period with discounted ticket prices before tickets become full-price:

 

Tickets will go on sale at 10 am on May 9th. General Admission 1-day tickets for Friday will be $25 before taxes and fees, and general admission Saturday tickets will be $30 before taxes and fees. VIP 2-day passes will be $65 before taxes and fees.

 

Pre-sale tickets will go to full price starting on June 13th. Friday tickets will go up to $30 before taxes and fees, and Saturday passes will be $40 before taxes and fees. VIP 2-day passes will go up to $80 before taxes and fees.

 

Tickets at the door on the day(s) of the Festival will be: $40 before taxes and fees for a Friday ticket and $50 before taxes and fees for a Saturday ticket.

 

Tickets are available at discounted prices at special outlet stores.

What outlet stores are selling discounted tickets?

Discounted tickets will be available starting on May 20th at: Beer Junction, Beer Star, Beveridge Place, Ounces, and Easy Street Records. All outlets are located in or around West Seattle. Friday tickets will cost $28, Saturday passes will cost $33, and VIP 2-day passes will cost $70. Tickets will have no additional fees at these locations!

Is there a military discount for tickets?

Yes there is. Tickets for active and former military members are $20 at the door with valid military ID.

What if I’m not drinking but still want to attend the Festival?

We are offering a designated driver ticket special at $20 for one-day admission to the Festival. The ticket price includes water and soda.

What is included with the price of admission?

Admission includes one-day admission to the Festival, a tasting glass and 10 tasting tokens to use at any of the vendors in the Festival.

Can I purchase additional drink tokens at the Festival if I use all mine?

Additional tokens may be purchased during the Festival at $5 for three tokens, $10 for six tokens, or $20 for twelve tokens from the merch tent.

What is included with a VIP pass?

VIP passes will get you admission to the Festival on both Friday August 23rd, and Saturday, August 24th. You will receive a special VIP tasting glass along with 20 drink tokens to use during the Festival. The VIP pass also grants early entrance to the Festival on Saturday August 24th at 1:30 PM, which will feature an exclusive tasting event with Fremont Brewing and Raccolto Restaurant in the Beer Star Barrel Lounge. The VIP passes are also good for admission to the #NotDoneYet After Party on both Friday and Saturday nights, featuring DJ Indica Jones.

Are the After parties included in the ticket price?

Admission to the After parties is included in the price of a weekend VIP pass. General admission Festival-goers can get into the After party for $5 with their WSBMF Festival ticket. People who didn’t attend the Festival can still get in to the After party for $10 per person. Drink tokens will not be honored during the After parties, and only cash or card will be accepted for admission to the After parties.
